Kiwanis Kingston Classic Training Program

Need some motivation as you prepare for the Kiwanis Kingston Classic? Join us for a free weekly training program! This exclusive offer is available to all athletes interested in the Kiwanis Kingston Classic and is designed to help you succeed on race day.


The Weekly Training Program will run for 10 consecutive Sundays leading up to the race

Dates: February 13, 2022 to April 17, 2022
Location: Keegan Ales - 20 St. James Street, Kingston
Time: 11 am for 5K | 10:15 to run more than 5K

The training group will be organized by Steve Schallenkamp, Diana Karron and other area runners and will be done in conjunction with Keegan's Army. The training group will be suitable for beginners through veteran runners.

This program is free and open to all.  There will be information about other group workouts throughout the week.

If desired there will be the opportunity to participate in other early spring races to help prepare for the Classic races. If there is interest, we will have workshops on training, nutrition, injury prevention and other running related topics.
